Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, all of our doctors are fully qualified medical doctors and have extensive experience in Aesthetic Medicine. All Doctors who join Carriages have been appraised for their skill and integrity to ensure they fit with Carriages ethos.

This depends on the area being treated which determines the product used. Softer filler products such as lip filler will break down more quickly compared to more dense products such as cheek filler.

Typically patients return for maintenance treatments every 12 months – 24 months. Less product is usually required at the second treatment to achieve desired results.

Botox typically lasts 3 to 4 months. Longevity will vary depending on the dose administered and the individual’s metabolism. The higher the dose, the longer Botox tends to last. Higher doses achieve a more frozen look.
It’s advised to have maintenance treatments every 6-12 months to maintain youthful vibrant skin.
  • Avoid rubbing and massaging the areas for 48 hours.
  • Avoid exercise for 48 hours to avoid botox migrating to a non-target muscle. 
  • Avoid excessive heat for 48 hours to avoid toxin migration. This includes saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds & sunbathing.
  • Refrain from consuming alcohol for 48 hours
  • Avoid makeup or other skin products for 6 hours post-treatment
  • What will I need to avoid after my filler treatment?
  • Avoid touching the treated area(s) for 48 hours.
  • Avoid exercise for 48 hours.
  • Avoid excessive heat such as saunas, sun beds & sunbathing for 48 hours.
  • Avoid dental treatments and facial massage for 2 weeks. 
  • Avoid Chemical peels, micro-needling, IPL or laser, & microdermabrasion for 2 weeks
  • Do not massage the treated area unless instructed to by your doctor
There are no restrictions with Botox or skin boosters. With filler treatments or Hyalase (dissolving), it’s best to avoid travel within 48 hours of treatment. Discuss this with your Doctor if travel is essential.
We offer top-up appointments only for anti-wrinkle injections. Sometimes dose adjustments are needed at 2 weeks to achieve the best results. You will require a facial assessment before scheduling a top-up appointment. This can be done as a video call or by sending us a video of your facial movements. Top-up appointments can be scheduled up to 4 weeks after your initial treatment. You may be asked to meet the Carriage at a different location from your original appointment to ensure you’re seen promptly.

Downtime depends on the treatment.

You can often continue your day immediately after treatment without any visible signs. However, all treatments come with the expected side effects listed below:

Side effects associated with dermal filler treatments include mild swelling, redness and rarely mild bruising. You can often continue your day immediately after treatment without any visible signs. However, side effects can sometimes take a couple of days to settle. or on rare occasions can take slightly longer to clear. Please allow 2 weeks for your filler treatments to completely integrate and settle into your natural tissue.

Side effects associated with Botox treatment include mild swelling and redness. This usually fades within 10-15 mins. On rare occasions, you might be left with a very small bruise which can be easily camouflaged. Peak activity of botox is achieved at 14 days post-treatment. Please allow this time to pass before evaluating the result.

Side effects associated with skin boosters include redness, mild bruising and small bumps at the injection site. These bumps may take 6-48 hours to settle depending on the skin booster administered.

Yes, you can request a specific doctor when booking via the website, email or over the phone.
Please avoid wearing makeup on the day of your treatment. Avoid any treatments that might irritate or break the skin (such as; micro-needling, chemical peels, laser and surgery) at least 2 weeks before your treatment

The best way to make an appointment is by calling the office on 0208 103 4500 as we will have more access to available appointments than are listed on the website. We will also be able to answer any questions related to our service.

You can always email the office at office@carriages.co if the office is closed. Appointments can be requested via our website however, please note that these appointments are requested until approved.

We travel within London zones 1-2. However, we have many clients that live outside of London. They usually meet us at a quiet spot near the station they arrive at or somewhere on the boundary of zone 2 if driving. As we continue to grow we will expand the areas we cover. We can travel to other areas for group bookings of more than 5. Please contact the office for group bookings.
No. All of our clinics are mobile and we will always endeavour to travel to your desired location within our travel zone.
We can see all patients regardless of where you live. For patients living outside of zones 1-2, our team will schedule your appointment at the most convenient location for you within this zone. This might be a quiet spot near a main train station or a quiet road if driving into London.
We schedule our appointments so that 1 Carriage covers a specific vicinity for a particular day. These Vicinities are North, South West, South East, East and West, If you require an urgent appointment and we are not in your desired vicinity, we will ask you to travel to Carriage so that we can accommodate you. However, we will always offer you the earliest available appointment at your desired location.
Yes, you are welcome to schedule an appointment, however, we would require your preferred appointment location as soon as possible. If this is not provided in a reasonable time, we may require you to travel to your Carriage.
If you are travelling to a major railway station we will ask you to wait comfortably inside that station until you receive a call from the driver. If you are travelling by car then we will ask you to wait patiently inside your vehicle until you receive a call from the driver. If we are meeting you in a location that is not a major railway station we will advise you on where to wait.

The address for your appointment will be in your confirmation email. On the day of your appointment, you will receive a call from the driver when we are en route to your location. Once we have arrived you will receive another call to notify you precisely where your Carriages is stationed.

We are subject to the availability of parking spaces so in an event where the agreed address has insufficient space we will find the nearest parking space.

If you are waiting at a train station it could be possible that we are seeing a patient before you. Please wait inside the station until you receive the second where you will be welcomed to the clinic.

Yes, you are welcome to have treatment on your first appointment. We will always conduct a full medical consultation and facial assessment before performing any treatments.

Yes. If you are unsure of your exact treatment you can discuss this with your doctor who will advise on a treatment plan. You can then decide to have treatment then or at a later date.

If you book a consultation and decide to go ahead with a treatment, you will only be charged for the cost of the treatment and not an additional consultation fee. If you do not have a treatment you will only pay the consultation fee.

We offer complimentary 15-minute video consultations via ZOOM. This is a great way to meet the doctor and discuss your aesthetic goals before booking a treatment.
Our strict cancellation policy firefights the appointment deposit will be foresighted if your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled before For all rearrangements and cancellations we have a very strict policy which requires at least 48 hours’ notice.
Our clinics operate from Monday to Friday 10 am to 5:30 pm. Currently, Saturday appointments are available once a month.

Yes, our Carriages have enough space for you to bring a friend or 2, so please feel free to.
Yes, our Carriages are clean and comfortable. Our light display often makes great entertainment for babies and young children. Please feel free to bring your child to your appointment.
The consultation, consenting and treatment process will vary depending on the treatment you are having. Typically your appointment will be between 30 – 90 minutes.
No. There are no additional charges for the mobile service.
Yes. The cost of our lip filler service is to assist in achieving your lip goals, not for the ml used.

New patients will receive a follow-up call the day after their treatment. All patients will receive a 2-week follow-up email inviting you for a video review with your to ensure things have settled beautifully. Please respond to this email if you would like to schedule the video review.

For urgent concerns, please email with the subject “URGENT” and we will respond promptly.

Yes, we can remove your makeup and will cleanse the skin before treatment is performed. However, please avoid wearing makeup to your appointment where possible.
Generally 2 hours after treatment. The doctor will advise you on the day of your appointment.
Unfortunately not. As we grow we will be able to expand our travel distance.
It’s not advised to have aesthetic treatments whilst pregnant or breastfeeding.

Dr Zsaki Sidhu

Dr Zsaki Sidhu competed his medical degree at the prestigious King’s College London. He also completed a Masters degree in Clinical Neuroscience whilst there, achieving a distinction in clinical research.

Dr Zsaki has comprehensive training in Plastic Surgery and has attained full membership with The Royal College of Surgeons. Dr Zsaki has also received formal training in Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry, specialties that are pertinent in consulting and managing Aesthetic patients.

Dr Zsaki is passionate in delivering exceptional natural looking results. He is constantly reinforcing his clinical skills with training and research in the fields of Aesthetics and Surgery, bolstering his expertise to the highest level.

Zsaki is an expert in all non-invasive aesthetic treatments having complete over 10,000 successful treatments. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Carriages team where he will be performing all available treatments.

Dr Haroon

Dr Haroon is a highly experienced aesthetic doctor who specialises in all advanced dermal filler, skin booster, and Anti-Wrinkle injection treatments.

Having carried out over 8000+ successful aesthetic procedures, Dr Haroon is able to combine the science and art of aesthetic medicine. For his clients, he is able to deliver life-changing results that remain natural and enhance their beauty.

Dr Haroon also works as an aesthetic trainer for the world-renowned training academy, Derma Medical. Dr Haroon is ethical in his approach and works with your desired outcomes to give you the best possible results.

Dr Elena Chantry MBChB

Dr Elena Chantry MBChB is a fully certified GMC registered doctor. She graduated from Leeds University Medical School and then went on to do her foundation years in East London Deanery. She started her aesthetics journey alongside her NHS work in 2016. She completed a post-graduate diploma in dermatology and then qualified as a General Practitioner in 2020.

She offers a wide variety of treatments including anti-wrinkle injection and injectable skin boosters such as Profhilo Sunekos and Polynucleotides. Advanced procedures include treatment for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), bruxism, jaw-reduction, gummy-smile and brow lift. Her attention to detail and fine-tuned practical skills allow her to create a treatment plan tailored to meet your individual needs, whilst keeping results looking fresh and natural.

Fez Mannan

A prize-winning UCL graduate of Biochemical Engineering, co-founder Fez Mannan brings sharp business acumen to the cosmetic arena having spent nine years successfully working within the finance sector in London.

With a combination of entrepreneurial spirit and foresight into future-proofing business, Fez will continue to drive Carriages of Harley Street forward, and with it the future of the cosmetic industry.

Fez’s business philosophy of excellence with agility bodes well for such a fast-moving cosmetic industry, ensuring that Carriages of Harley Street remains as state-of-the-art as the treatments it will be offering.

He achieved the highest marks in the year group for his research project, allowing him to win the IMRC Prize for his study of “a novel feeding strategy for mammalian cells”. The resulting discovery reduced costs and improved efficiency in antibody production while gaining him a PhD offer.

In his degree, Fez studied biochemistry, pharmaceutical manufacture, process design, reactor engineering and therapeutics.

After university, Fez joined investment banking giant J.P Morgan Chase in their London office. He started in the technology graduate program, where he spent two years learning best practices in managing high-performance systems, building resiliency and providing rapid response to incidents.

He then moved into the Front Office as an equities trader, initially trading for global clients wanting exposure to the Europe, Middle East and African (EMEA) markets. In his final role, Fez spent four years managing the firm’s money, having his own trading book running proprietary strategies across EMEA.

During his time in banking, Fez managed to navigate through incredibly volatile events such as the 2014 Russian crisis, the 2016 Brexit referendum & US presidential election and the COVID-19 pandemic.

After a total of nine years, Fez departed Investment Banking having held the title of Vice President.

Fez brings an analytical mindset with thorough perseverance to problem solve. He is passionate about improving efficiences and providing value to end clients.

Dr Richard Devine

Dr Devine is a leading Aesthetic Doctor with expertise and natural flair for a wide range of non-invasive cosmetic procedures. He boasts an impressive CV having previously worked for 2 highly acclaimed and internationally recognised Harley Street clinics, The Consultant Clinic and Harley Street Skin Clinic. Over the past 7 years, he has mastered his skill in Aesthetic Medicine having successfully performed thousands of procedures.

Dr Devine’s attention to detail and impressive natural results have made him a recognised name within the Aesthetics industry. He is a strong advocate for patient safety and is highly sought-after due to his true interest in the well-being of his clients.

From humble beginnings, Dr Devine was born and raised in London. From a young age, Dr Devine had a natural ability in art, but his strong interest in science would see him go on to study medicine at the highly prestigious university, King’s College London. During this time Dr Devine developed a passion for surgery and later took a year out of medical school to complete a Master’s in Orthopaedic Surgery at the esteemed University College London. Still impassioned for excellence and growth, he completed an elective in Orthopaedics at Yale University, USA.

After graduating from medical school Dr Devine discovered Aesthetic Medicine through his keenness to learn and explore all surgical fields. With his artistic flair and strong surgical skills, Dr Devine took to the speciality naturally. His ability was recognised by the highly acclaimed Harley Street Skin Clinic (HSSC) which went on to recruit him. Over the following 5 years, Dr Devine would master his knowledge and skill in Aesthetics, performing a wide range of cosmetic treatments ranging from minor surgeries to non-invasive procedures. His talent gained the attention of the international award-winning clinic, The Consultant Clinic, who later requested he joins their exclusive team. Through his work with The Consultant Clinic and HSSC, Dr Devine performed thousands of cosmetic treatments across the UK and made a name for himself as an expert in this field.

Due to his strong commitment to the NHS, Dr Devine chose to spend the latter half of that time also training as a General Practitioner, ensuring he would always be able to give his services back to the NHS. He qualified as a GP in 2020 and continues to balance his time between NHS duties and his passion for Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr Devine is a strong advocate for patient safety and strives to empower his clients with knowledge and information, guiding them on their Aesthetic journey. His devotion to patients led to the creation of Carriages of Harley Street with long-term friend and Co-Founder Fez Mannan, a novel concept that provides unparalleled value to patients which is sure to revolutionise the Aesthetics industry. Dr Devine practises Aesthetic solely as CEO and medical director for Carriages of Harley Street, leading the company forwards in the unchartered territory that he and his partner have forged.
